What Happens During This Treatment?
To administer this type of treatment, the chiropractor will fit you with two harnesses: one around the pelvis, and one around the trunk of the body. Depending on how the treatment is being given, you may be required to lie face down or face up on a computer-controlled table. You will feel a stretch in the spine, but the process is not painful. If pain is experienced during or after the treatment, this may not be a good method of treatment to continue.
You may be required to drink up to a half-gallon of water per day, and perform exercises at home to increase mobility and strength.
